I’ve had cats for most of my 70+ years, once rescuing a tiny orange kitten I found in a barn when I was in college then flying with him hidden in my pocket from Denver to my parents’ home in upstate NY knowing they would give him the best home, which of course they did.  When I retired from my high stress job in the financial world, I knew I wanted to volunteer at Wild Blue, having followed them on FB for years.  I started May 2021 and have loved every minute of it.  The dedication, commitment and love for cats of everyone involved confirms I made the right decision. Though I no longer have cats at home, I get lots of kitty love on Wednesday mornings.
