Just getting caught up from the weekend where a couple good friends came through to help the homeless lady and her daughter by donating and putting up two tents, one to stay in and one to shower in….yep, Quinn McGee & Danny Peterson you are some very cool angels!
I still need to catch up this week with the rest of you angels who have offered help. Thank You all for offering and donating sleeping bags, pillows, blankets and other minor necessities. Housing is still not completely secured but heading in the right direction from what I am told.
As for the cats, the last two at the homeless camp in this location were fixed and vaccinated on Saturday. There are still more cats from this situation in another location…the boyfriend’s camp. I am not sure of the situation and have no idea how many will be there. Hopefully everyone will stay cooperative. This will be assessed in the next few days as well and hopefully I can get a handle on what can be done to help them.
I am thankful for a great team of people around me who support each other and all the great work we do to help animals and help people.
