Hello! My name is Erin Ong, and along with my daughter, Addie, we’re on our second round of volunteering with Wild Blue Cats! We first fostered kittens in 2018 but took a break when life (and our own cats’ medical needs) got a little overwhelming. Early in 2025, we jumped back in and have loved caring for some wonderful kittens and a sweet momma who all found amazing homes. Addie especially loves naming our foster kittens and following their journeys after adoption.
We also help out at spay/neuter clinics. I’m on the medical team, and Addie helps on the support team, which can be a daunting job when we fix 40–60 cats in a single day! It’s incredible to see how much of a difference Wild Blue can make in the community in just one day.
Outside of rescue life, I enjoy homeschooling, hiking, diving, and backpacking. Addie is an incredible artist who loves being outdoors and visiting national parks. We’re both so proud to be part of such a caring and dedicated organization.
