Meet our August 2023 Kitty of the Month…..Wart!

Meow!  My name is Wart.  I am a very sweet, confident, and talkative DSH brown/gold tabby male.  My estimated DOB is 3/14/22.  I look like I may have some Bengal or Savanna traits in me.  I am very active and playful and demand my share of attention.  I LOVE all kinds of petting and I like to rub against you seeking affection.  I really like laps but let me be the one to climb onto you, as I’m NOT in love with being held yet and even less being scruffed.  I’m not a cuddler though, as I’m always intrigued by other activity around me, so laps are just a way to be close to you.  I was in rough shape when I arrived from Roswell, NM but I am feeling better and getting the appropriate meds.  My fur is a little thin in my back area.  I may have a food allergy, so I am testing with special food to see if my itching goes away.  I also tested FIV+ during my medical review.  I’ve had an outing while wearing a harness for some activity and I did great!  I will probably need an active adopter to match my needs for attention, energy, playfulness, and perhaps willing to take me on walks or have a safe enclosure to enjoy a little outdoor time.  Lots of wand play and toys will also be appropriate.  I can be a little dominant with the shy kitties, and I may be happiest as your only feline.  If you are the perfect person for me, please complete an adoption application  wbcats.org/adopt
