Meet our February 2024 Kitty of the Month…..Valmont!

Meow! My name is Valmont. I am a super lovable DMH orange tabby male. My estimated DOB is 2/19/20 am very sweet, and I can’t wait to flop over for belly rubs.  I love to play especially with the cat catcher mouse. The wand toys with feathers are also a favorite, and I like to catch the wand toy and walk away with my prize. When you cuddle with me, will purr and purr.  I like to meow and follow you around when I want attention or am hungry.  Regular playtime will help me from getting bored, and I need the exercise!
Obviously, I have enjoyed the open buffet bar too many times, and now I need to lose some weight.  A specific feeding schedule will also be appropriate.  I was originally rescued from a camper out in Falcon along with almost 60 other cats and kittens.  I was adopted; however when we all moved into a brand-new home, the change in my environment triggered markings.  I was adopted again and I was happy, but when my owners kept moving homes, again the change was too much.  Change is hard for me, and I need stability in my environment.  Slow transitions and sharing old smells with new smells helps. I am a very charming fellow, and I am ready to try again.
